Pros
I greatly enjoy the process of customer service. My relationship with my manager, despite working from home, is open and warm. I've heard that the only position anyone is hired from outside the company for is the basic customer service position I have, with all higher roles being drawn from within the company. I enjoy the connection to Kroger, getting to provide store credit for customers having rough days and generally be a friend in need.
Cons
Pay ain't exactly spectacular. Receiving minimum wage for your work is treated as a reward, not a baseline expectation. The technical side of things is a buggy mess, and if you're having issues, the company sees that as a "you" problem and slaps down occurrences accordingly. Unsure if the customer service experience here is necessarily any better than alternatives, as this is my first position in this line of work.
