Pros
This company actually understands the Skillbridge progam and it's purpose. I didn't end up getting a job with the company but they spoke to me about my goals, helped me write better resumes, mentored me about interviews and the industry of my field, including nuances of government contracting. I worked on a project with a technology I hadn't worked with before and learned a lot. Overall a great experience.
Cons
The team I worked on had a lot of responsibility and was feeling some pressure near the end of my internship, with some managers juggling a lot of different tasks and roles. It made it difficult at times to reach them and for them to support the interns on the project, but no organization is perfect and I think it is a common problem to have. When we did get a chance to touch base there was a lot of mutual respect realistic expectations, which minimized the difficulties.
