Former employee, your feedback is important to us. Interface strives to provide a positive work experience for all employees and I am sorry that your experience fell below that standard. The COVID pandemic created challenges and struggles for most businesses. Many businesses were forced to close temporarily or permanently leaving a financial strain on their employees. The Interface executive team worked tirelessly to keep Interface operating and ensure customers continued to receive excellent service. Interface experienced substantial loss of revenue due to the pandemic. Cost-cutting measures were put in place which unfortunately included a temporary salary freeze. The company did not however, suspend annual performance reviews. Interface has since reinstated the process of annual pay increases based on the company's performance review process.
You mention emails sent to employees stating how much money the company was making. No such emails were sent to employees, however, you may be referring to emails from the executive team informing employees of recapitalizing the business to be financially viable.
I do wish you the best as I do all former employees and I hope you have remained healthy during the pandemic.
