Pros

They fed you for the weekly assembly meetings. You could take beaks anytime you wanted. The training they provided was great so you could learn all the different belts you would be building you would be assembling on the lane your assigned. The classroom training was ok too. A little boring but you learned the differences in the belts.

Cons

The women that work there are not the kindest to new people. The company works on a point system. Each belt is worth a certain amount of points. The more points you get in one day, the bigger your paycheck is. Each point is worth about .22 cents and thats IF you build over the point average for each lane. For lane 4, which is where I worked, it was a 55 point average per hour. What they don't tell you is that you have to bust some serious behind to make the average. To me, it was like legalized slave work. If you had one slow day, (like not feeling well, or just didn't sleep right, whatever), it kills your average points for the week, which kills your paycheck. They make you do housekeeping, (sweeping, mopping), but in my opinion, a company that makes that much money a year, should have a company that does that for them. Oh, and dont build a belt incorrectly..they deduct the points for the incorrectly built belt from your check and you get nothing for it, even if it was an honest mistake! They also force you to work overtime. If you put in your 40 hours and they need you to work on a Saturday, and you cant, then you get wrote up. This is just the tip of the iceberg!
