Pros

- Amazing employee discounts on both sale and full-price merchandise - Friendly co-workers and organized management - Grateful customers

Cons

Management posts the shift schedule for a week only one week in advance. This makes it difficult to schedule plans because you are never sure when you are working. This may have been a challenge only as a summer associate, because I was not put on a regular schedule, and the days I was supposed to work changed week by week.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
