Pros

The employee discount is a huge bonus. You can generally get most of the clothes for half off. Coworkers are also generally very friendly, and managers were generally very understanding.

Cons

The on-call shifts were the worst. It made planning your schedule really difficult, and the managers never really explained why they needed you, or didn't. It seemed very arbitrary. As a sales associate, you were also expected to sell a certain amount, so sometimes employees competed with one another for customers.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
