Very structured, nice place to work for, decent hourly pay for seasonal employees. The work atmosphere was competitive. - Sales Associate J. Crew Employee Review

Pros

You know what is expected of you, there is a nice discount for employees, probably so that they can keep up with the strict dress code.

Cons

The dress code can be complicated and a little more difficult than it needs to be. It requires a lot of money to be able to wear the things they want you to wear to work.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
