Pros

Great team at the time I was there which made working in retail much more enjoyable. My manager was also great and was very fair in her treatment of our team. She also very clearly knew how to do her job well and that reflected in the organization of the team and the store processes.

Cons

I noticed that in between seasons we went through periods of time where the store looked very empty as we waited for the next roll out. I'm wondering if that has to do with the fact that it was a factory store, but it didn't look great for prospective customers walking in the door.

Pros

Good time-off package. Holiday week off for office employees. Historically respected work-life balance and flexible working. Good employee discount and maternity leave.

Cons

C-suite pushing a mandatory 3 days in-office after 5+ years of boasting flexibility as a cornerstone of their employee benefits package. Lack of clear and thoughtful communication of this new policy was frustrating and disheartening as an employee. Leadership, starting with the CEO, is at an all-time low of the last 6 years of working in their corporate office. Horrifying to see how poorly initiatives are getting rolled out, likely getting pushed down from board of directors. Would anticipate a rough transition into the company if you choose to take a role replacing the dozens of employees possibly being forced to leave the company due to RTO.
