Pros

The pay is good and the staff is highly motivated and professional. I rarely if ever hear any negative comments from Vaughn employees.

Cons

The work hours can be excessive. People work 60 to 70 hours a week which causes them to get burnt out. Most of the mistakes that are made are due to overwork. The benefits and health insurance are not good either. Managment tries to encourage healthy practices but it's not possible with the current work culture. It's hard to worry about your health when at the same time you are expected to be at work from 6 am to 6 pm 5 to 6 days a week.

Pros

Great people that expect the best from everyone they work with. Treat subcontractors the right way and provide great opportunities on exciting and challenging projects for their employees.

Cons

Crazy hours and projects are often understaffed. Compensation does not align with industry standard and bonus does not reflect production. New leadership is challenging to work for and consistently micromanages tenured employees.
