If you like wearing one hat and knowing what is required of you, JCPenney is perfect. Roles are defined with exacting limits, collaborative effort and consensus management.
Cons
Making anything happen is near impossible, as leadership lives in 1985 without understanding what nimble and decisive means. The company is floundering due to an inability to prioritize, no clear strategic direction, and fear-based group-think. I fear for the company. Veeeeeerrrrryyyyyyy slow professional movement, and the environment appeals mostly to people who love drama and unproductive churn.
