Great culture of excellence. My co-workers legitimately want to do it right, every time. Detail oriented, high functioning and committed to best practices. Managers do everything they can to put employees in a position to succeed. Highly organized system in place. Reliable and consistent training. Great resources available, IT support, free parking, safe and secure work area. I feel that if I need something to do my job better, my boss or her bosses will make sure I have it. The company is also active in volunteering, social service, donations and civic responsibility. We are also oriented toward a "green", environmentally friendly process whenever possible. We operate efficiently and I go home satisfied with my productivity each day. Esprit de corps is high with many workers regularly staying late or coming in early to excel. Company invests in its employees and spends considerable amounts of money on special events and appreciation. There is also a documented and well known culture of internal promotion. If you work hard, you will do well at this company. They will appreciate you, promote you, and pay you.
Cons
Lack of flexibility in work schedules and telecommuting. No childcare or gym onsite. Basic Health insurance package is more limited than others I've had in the past, Expanded health insurance package is expensive. Very limited paid time off (PTO). Traffic is terrible to and from work, just like most every job in the DC area.
