Pros

Hands on experience in every way. Great teams and opportunities to travel and network. Many chances to learn and obtain new skills and trades.

Cons

Hours are scarce in the slow season (winter). Management could use some retraining as well as the higher ups. A lot of manual labor that can be strenuous on ones muscles. Schedule is very sporadic and not consistent.

Thank you for your review. The moving industry is seasonal in nature and we see more jobs/hours during the peak months of May - September. The dispatch teams work diligently to manage employee hours throughout the year and give movers the opportunity to work jobs in other areas when available. Our Move Specialists average 40 hours per week over the course of the year. Additionally, we offer opportunities to train as a driver, with the majority of classes being held during the slow season offering an opportunity to earn hours during training as well as advance your career. If you have any questions about enrolling in training, please reach out to your supervisor and speak to Human Resources.
