Pros

The culture is a great fit for many career types. JK really puts a lot into training and keeping their moving driver fleet and crews. They have managed to keep hourly staff working for 12 months rather than the typical summer season only, that most movers do. Because the household / office / records and relocation divisions working together JK has more career advancement opportunities and less downtime. Great business model !

Cons

If you want to take the winter off work you can't. If you need summer vacation when your own kids are out of school you can't. If you are not willing to grow in yourself and you prefer to work in isolation then JK is not going to be good for you.

JK's Paid Time Off (PTO) policy allows employees to earn paid leave to use at their discretion. Employees get leave approval through their managers to ensure their absence does not disrupt business continuity. Many employees have taken several weeks off for extended trips, such as visiting family overseas, especially during the off-peak winter months. Please reach out to the HR department if you have any questions about using your PTO. Thank you for writing a review.
