Requires good, related job experience to secure a decent starting wage. If it wasn't for benefits, the starting pay for entry-level is barely competing with retail & restaurant wages. Recommend seeking certifications and education to secure higher wage/better position than entry-level.

Seasonal work is in one of the best locations, Alaska. The room and accommodations are clean and for the most part, working. However, being remote Alaska there are difficulties in WiFi, and at times having hot running water. Don't go expecting a 5-star experience.

The HR director overhires in anticipation of people quitting, so you end up with less than 40 hours per week. Thus people leave for better hours and pay. The pay is meager and the promised commissions are minimal unless you work during peak evening hours. The staff food is not freshly cooked. Its always processed re-heated food. They hire many young kids with nothing else to do but get high or drunk and cause mischief. By the time I left most staff areas were restricted due to vandalism and trash in the areas.
