Senior employees of the company have influence on HR. I applied and got a higher position with higher pay however the score on my test was sabotaged by a supervisor at the behest of a supervisor from my previous dept. And I was offered a position that was more hazardous but at significantly lower pay. I verified test requirements from other employees candidates. This coupled with the fact that I was not allowed to speak with the engineer or even know his or her name as to the requirements of the test. Also even though I was given a higher pay rate, for a month and a half I was still being paid at the pay rate of my former position, even after I'd spoken to HR on 3 separate occasions. So the insidious nefarious games are played by the senior employees in management positions.
