9yThe Human Resources department at JHA continues to do the right thing, do whatever it takes, and have fun along the way. While there may be temporary supervisor assignments given when there is an immediate need, positions are interviewed for and earned, and managers outside of HR are involved in that process to ensure accountability. What I do need to consider is making this process more transparent so team members understand how the decision was made and the leadership framework we use to measure the individual against the leadership capabilities we require. While there is turnover in departments – and HR is no exception – not all turnover is negative. It can also be a sign of under-performing employees moving on to roles which better suit their skill set and abilities. This transition can be difficult and hard to come to grips with in the short-run, but it’s what’s best for both in the future.
