Pros

I can safely say that I enjoy going to work each morning. There is a great atmosphere here and it's probably the best place to work for in this area. Good benefits, competitive pay, and a casual dress code are all big pro's in my book.

Cons

The training in my specific department was not very organized. They basically put you with another person doing the same job as you, and you better hope they know what they are doing and teach you the right way to do things.

Pros

I'm still relatively new, but the experience has been outstanding so far. The interview process was professional and well organized, onboarding was excellent, and everyone has been welcoming and supportive. The company culture has exceeded my expectations.

Cons

Compensation was not the primary factor in my decision to join, but the work environment, leadership, and overall employee experience have exceeded my expectations.

Pros

Overall, I had a very pleasant and enjoyable experience at Jack Henry. The company culture was genuinely kind, welcoming, and open. C-suite and senior leaders were genuinely accessible (you could message them on Teams and get a response). Coworkers were also kind and willing to help you find an answer to your questions. Even though most employees were remote, there was a strong sense of working together as one company. There was also a strong emphasis on providing learning and leadership development opportunities for Associates. The company was also actively working to align employees on the company’s overall strategic objectives; this was no small feat as Jack Henry had acquired many companies over the years, and aligning all the various teams and product groups towards a more streamlined workplace culture and company outcomes wasn’t easy. In summary, I would recommend that people work at Jack Henry; you can truly build a meaningful and purposeful career with the company.

Cons

The challenges I had were mostly related to my direct managers. While my direct managers were nice people and I genuinely believe they wanted their direct reports to succeed, I felt that my skills and experience were not well managed. I did well in my first couple of years at the company and then I was put in a role that wasn’t a good fit for my skill set without being given an opportunity to weigh in on whether or not I wanted the role (I understand that team reorganizations sometimes happen and you don’t always get a say in where you’re placed). There were multiple situations with miscommunications and misunderstandings, and when I sought clarity, I was often made to feel as though the confusion was my fault.
