Pros
The workplace atmosphere and direct management were both top-notch, fostering a supportive and well-structured environment
Cons
One challenge I observed was limited diversity within upper management and the executive leadership team, which appeared to be predominantly Caucasian male and from similar regional backgrounds. This can impact the range of perspectives in decision-making, particularly in major strategic initiatives such as the purchase and subsequent sale of Del Taco. Given that approximately 60% of Del Taco locations are in California—where Hispanic/Latino consumers represent the largest demographic group—there may have been an opportunity to better align brand positioning, menu development, and overall strategy with the preferences of that core market.
