Pros

- Strong people-first culture with valued employees - Flexible positions with great work-life balance - Fun environment without sacrificing professional growth I've worked at a lot of places and have never met anyone like the Jahnel brothers. In some places when you hear "family" in reference to your coworkers you might roll your eyes, but not at Jahnel Group. These guys truly care and the company they built reflects that. Where some jobs might spout similar rhetoric, these two have proven it through action. By going above and beyond for their employees, they've encouraged a deep culture of caring and self-improvement. At Jahnel Group, the people are its assets. The facilitation of this culture has allowed it to permeate down to its employees. Every person here cares about your personal growth and well-being, from its managers down to its interns. You feel valued and appreciated every day. I’ve been with the company for a few years now and have seen it grow from a small team of 30 to over 100. I can honestly say that, despite tripling in size, the culture has only grown stronger. It’s because of this that Jahnel Group has managed to scout, hire, and retain experienced and talented employees. These are experts in their fields and are a great resource to help springboard your professional development. In addition, the company has invested thousands towards building learning modules, sponsoring certifications, and running classes. So if you’re serious about your career and want to see it flourish in an environment designed to see you succeed then I implore you to apply!

Cons

- General software development commitments Does laughing too much count? Honestly, it's hard to find any cons. Like with any software development job there may be long hours depending on your project's life-cycle. However, if any crunch does occur JG does its best to mitigate stress by doing things such as ordering food and offering other incentives. If someone is feeling overburdened there are resources available to help and people are never punished for reaching out for support

Pros

Remote work for people outside new york, pay for travel if you want to

Cons

I was hired but it took 2 months. Recruiter was horrible. Pay doesnt make up for it. You can tell the leadership team here is poorly chosen. Colleague of mine got denied for a position after being reached out to by Janel group. That just shows bad business practice. Figure it out.
