Pros

Strong product suite with genuine customer need. Many talented colleagues at the contributor level. Also some exceptional managers/directors.

Cons

Senior leadership feels out of its depth. The stock price has collapsed in recent years, which in my view reflects poor strategic decisions and inadequate leadership. A variety of changes from leadership have created an environment of distrust. Jamf is extremely aggressive in enforcing restrictive covenants, even against mid-level employees. After resigning for a new opportunity, I was threatened with legal action that ultimately lead to an offer falling through. The company relies heavily on short-term fixes instead of building a culture that retains people and is no longer the company it once was. A majority of talented employees are no doubt one foot out the door and the ‘sinking ship’ feeling summarised in other reviews feels apt. If I were to review this company purely on public information and ignoring the fact I’d worked there, the signs aren’t much better. A tanking stock price, mass redundancies several times over, the CEO has joined the board of another company at the tail end of last year, and the largest shareholder is now looking to sell. Not a great picture

Pros

Amazing people, remote work, flexibility, and socially aware environment.

Cons

Tech layoffs can seem not as transparent and desired.

Pros

Benefits are pretty much the only positive at this point. Working hybrid is nice, but pales when we used to be fully remote with no issues.

Cons

The senior managers of Technical Support are driving this org into the ground. Employees are no longer a human, no longer an employee; we are now just numbers. KPI requirements have gotten ridiculous requiring employees to almost literally fight over available work to make ourselves look better. Its a complete sham, a numbers game. There are those of us that are legitimately here for our users and administrators, but the quantity of work has vastly outweighed the quality.
