Pros

Fine entry level resume builder if you need it.

Cons

They will always pay you like you're an entry level employee. As the company has grown they care less and less about people (customers and employees) and more about the bottom line, especially after going public in 2020. Promotions are almost always based on seniority, not on skill or even interest in being a manager, which fosters an internal culture of gross incompetence and little understanding of framing real career paths for individual contributors. Diversity & inclusion is also a complete joke at this company - So many white dudes - one of which is their evangelical "all lives matter" conservative CEO

Jamf Response

We are sorry that this was your experience at Jamf, and appreciate your comments and feedback. We do have a strong culture of promotion based on progressive skills and experience, often gained through an employee’s growth in their current role. All Jamfs are encouraged to work towards their long-term career goals, discover new interests as well as cross-department opportunities. In addition, there is a structured program for new manager training which includes live instruction and connections to fellow leaders. We constantly strive for improvement and continue to evolve our commitment to support equity, diversity, and inclusion. This includes increased funding and support for our Employee Resource Groups, expanded mental health and wellness benefits, and racial justice and anti-racism training for our Jamfs. We see these as early steps, but not the final journey.

Pros

Benefits, culture, and community drive Jamf. Pay can always be better, but is fair to the market.

Cons

Some growing pains recently, maturing from a start-up to a stable company with new technology, such as AI, competing with internal resources.

Pros

Benefits are pretty much the only positive at this point. Working hybrid is nice, but pales when we used to be fully remote with no issues.

Cons

The senior managers of Technical Support are driving this org into the ground. Employees are no longer a human, no longer an employee; we are now just numbers. KPI requirements have gotten ridiculous requiring employees to almost literally fight over available work to make ourselves look better. Its a complete sham, a numbers game. There are those of us that are legitimately here for our users and administrators, but the quantity of work has vastly outweighed the quality.
