Pros

Good cafeteria nice office beautiful campus

Cons

I haven't been here for very long but I noticed right away that people seemed miserable. I left a O.K. job to work here thinking it had to be better but I wish I stayed at my old job. I have dealt with criticism my whole life, but at work I always give my best and didn't ever have to worry about being insulted and made to feel bad until getting hired at Jewelers. I definitely don't feel valued here and I struggle with making myself go to work inthe morning. I am tired and cried in the car so many times while driving to work here, cry at the thought of being trapped in my cubicle and trying to do a good job for the customers but afraid of messing up. I feel like I can't do anything right. Like the other post said the supervisors beat you down emotionally and I don't think I can take working here to much longer.

Pros

A strong company with a long history of success. Jewelers Mutual is full of curious and collaborative people that want to see others and the company succeed. I have never been part of such a supportive organization.

Cons

Fast moving company so sometimes it would be beneficial if we slowed down.

Pros

Good benefits like 401k match and a decent amount of PTO

Cons

Career advancement and compensation reviews appear to be extremely limited, even when employees take on substantially expanded responsibilities and perform work well beyond their original job descriptions. Managers who attempt to advocate for title changes or salary adjustments face significant resistance, making meaningful discussions about employee growth difficult to have. While the same people keep getting promoted.
