Over worked, under paid, high school popularity contest - Management Jewelers Mutual Group Employee Review

Jewelers Mutual used to be one of the best paying companies in the Valley; it is now the lowest. You get paid a laughable wage, are expected to put the company before everything else in your life. Salaried positions are expected to work well beyond the 40 hours. Management looks down on you if you have FMLA issues. Promotions and development are only given out to those who are favorites; more than half a dozen people were not promoted simply because the management did not like them. If you are not well liked they will try to fire you, even if you are meeting metrics and goals. Avoid the toxic work environment at all costs. HR knows about the issues and turns a blind eye. If you want to hate your life, be miserable to be around, and be back in high school, then JM is the job for you.
