Pros

Our store was probably the cleanest franchise in the entire US. We always had that place spotless every single morning, during the day when it was slow, and at night. (It was great to eat there, because you knew what you were eating was 100% fresh and clean.) Very easy, mindless work. The people were pretty fun. Lots of fun conversations. We goofed around a LOT, especially when it was pretty dead on weeknights. Lots of fun new people to get to know and talk with, due to high turnover. I never would have learned that bread guts dipped in hot pepper juice w/ a dab a bit of mayo is the best snack ever.

Cons

We were ALWAYS cleaning. We were never allowed to rest unless every single cleaning job was done. On the one hand- very efficient. On the other, your feet get tired after a 6-hour shift of making sandwiches, running around, mopping tables, and cleaning. Only got free sandwiches after a 12 hour shift! What's up with that? The employee discount sucks. At least when I was employed, there was a crazy bi-polar manager who made some serious employee drama. Entertaining at times, but exhausting and stressful at others. Pretty high turnover so you were always training new hires.

Pros

Good pay, if there aren't too many drivers, and you're at a good place for lunch, you can expect to make around $50 in tips per day or more, and get reimbursed for mileage. The people there can be hit or miss, some people can be very fun to work with and responsible.

Cons

The upper management can be lead with too many sensitive women, who don't know how to diagnose situations properly, and take the side of the immature employees who get offended way too easily. The co-workers can be very young and irresponsible, but this is par for the course for food places if you don't have strong leadership.
