-Opportunity to work in the urban core with a system that, if operated by the right leadership, can produce results -Benefits and compensation (everything is negotiable) -Opportunities to create

Cons

-Disconnect between regional office and buildings -Lack of diversity in leadership (minimal number of Black males except for positions that are used to influence or control behavior) -Poor leadership at the elementary level (they're clueless and petty) -WAY too many suspensions for elementary aged children

The teachers work really well together Everyone help each other out

Cons

Administration expects teachers to be guidance counselor, social worker, nurse, and parents to the students. While this is expected at some level, the amount times teachers must play these other roles is not healthy at all.
