Pros

One of the things I've enjoyed most about working at Kodiak Labor Solutions is the level of ownership and impact I have as a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist. I manage full-cycle recruiting, build long-term relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and recruit for a wide range of skilled trades and leadership positions. I also appreciate the opportunity to continuously improve recruiting processes, stay connected to labor market trends, and directly contribute to the growth of our clients. The work is fast-paced, collaborative, and rewarding because every successful placement makes a real difference for both the candidate and the business.

Cons

Overall, I've enjoyed the work and the opportunity to make an impact through recruiting. My primary concern has been the PTO policy, as two weeks of vacation feels limited for maintaining long-term work-life balance. The role is also fast-paced and comes with the typical challenges of recruiting in the skilled trades, such as a competitive labor market and managing multiple priorities, but those are challenges I've learned to navigate and have helped me grow as a recruiter.
