Pros
Clean Environment. Some students get an advantage and move on to a bachelors degree. Students can take classes, obtain an associates degree and make a decision on the direction they want to pursue for a career.
Cons
Administration and leadership are no longer focused on students. Advancement only for new hires and not existing staff. The college is run as a private college or private company and not a public, community, tax-based institution. Decisions are made and pursued without the feedback from the community. Millions of dollars have been associated with buildings and programs that have not been sustained and/or available for payback. Unfortunately, these losses financially affect the faculty and staff (not administrators). It is also progressing and effecting the customers: KVCC Students.
