Pros

*Opportunities to work on a variety of projects early on, which can build experience quickly. *Flexible hybrid work schedule (if your manager allows) and occasional company-sponsored events. *A few genuinely supportive colleagues who are willing to help when they have the time.

Cons

*High pressure environment with little training or guidance for new hires. You’re expected to figure things out on your own but are criticized if you make mistakes. * Management can feel disconnected from day-to day work. Feedback is often vague or critical rather than constructive. *Billable hour requirements create constant stress and lead to working evenings or weekends to “make up time.” *Office culture can be cliquey and unwelcoming, especially if you’re not part of the “in-group.” *Work-life balance is tough to maintain due to unrealistic deadlines and pressure to work extra hours without acknowledgment.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We appreciate your recognition of the early project exposure and flexibility, and we’re grateful you highlighted some of the supportive teammates you encountered. We also hear your concerns and take them seriously. While we aim to be a place where driven individuals thrive, we recognize that high expectations must be matched with strong support. Feedback like yours reinforces the importance of equipping our managers with the tools and training they need to lead with clarity, empathy, and consistency, while also fostering a stronger culture of mentorship—areas we are actively working to improve. At Keller, our mission is to improve lives—those of our clients, communities, and most importantly, our people. That includes cultivating a workplace where everyone feels included, supported, and empowered. We know we’re not perfect, and we’re committed to learning and growing. Your insights help us do that. Thank you again for your contributions during your time with us, and we wish you continued success in your career.
