Pros
Sometimes projects are actually fun (not required at work) & if you get a good boss, then it's possible to have an amazing career.
Cons
It's likely you'll have structural &/or boss changes every 6 months. A majority of managers appear to have no ability to manage people or projects effectively or efficiently. 75% of managers (in my experience) are micromanagers to the fullest degree (not a fan), and are more concerned with their own advancement, therefore will actively hold you down & trash-talk you - I can only assume it is out of insecurity? But, seriously - it is incredibly immature to act that way as a manager. People have & will continue to leave if they are good/skilled/productive employees - leaving the unproductive people who are simply happy to collect a paycheck while no one really pays enough attention to realize they aren't doing much. Good on these people for getting paid, though! They are just working the system while having some work/life balance. And I can't blame them for doing what the are allowed to get away with.
