Pros
Kerry has an annual summer picnic that is free to attend for employees and their families. Additionally, Kerry has a winter/holiday event for employees and their partners to attend (heavy appetizers, beverages, dancing, and music). Every once in a while, the office will close 2 hours early (usually on days right before a holiday).
Cons
The workload is horrendous. The complaints are many, but the compliments are few. The starting pay is below average. There are no annual bonuses or opportunities that will pay you anything extra for excellent performance. Raises are paltry at 0-4% per year, with very few employees receiving raises in the 3-4% range. Your opportunities for advancement are extremely limited, as Kerry has a strong tendency/preference for hiring from the outside. It is especially difficult to find new employment when you eventually do decide to leave the company due to the area OR if you commute in from another metro area, fuel costs will take a substantial portion of your paycheck.
