Pros

- Pay and bonus were competitive for the industry. - PTO and benefits are standard per industry. - Certain coworkers are very knowledgeable and supportive.

Cons

**Understaffed and Overworked** Employees are set up for failure, everyone is operating at maximum capacity and yet workload continues to pile up. There are not enough resources to complete the work efficiently and effectively. Everybody is burned out. **No Systems, No Procedures, No Planning** The site is not organized and always in reactive mode. The focus is always about ‘getting product out the door,' regardless of sustainability. Projects and deviations are given unrealistic deadlines. There is little investment in real continuous improvement or process optimization. **Toxic Blame Culture** When deadlines are missed, the finger-pointing begins. People are quick to blame other departments. Those in the inner circle are able to deflect responsibility onto burned out employees and hold no accountability. **Leadership Disconnected or Absent** Leadership does not recognize the effort to make the impossible possible. Leaders spend more time talking about the work, rather than facilitating the work or granting resources. You are more likely to hear ‘when will it be done?’ rather than ‘what support do you need for it to be done?’

Pros

It’s a job. The experience in this industry can definitely open doors for far better opportunities in companies that are much more prestigious and professional. If you want a career in the industry then could be worth while to work here simply to gain the skills needed to be considered at a better company.

Cons

Leadership is really incompetent. There is no diversity in the quality department. While women deserve to hold positions of power, there NEEDS to be balance (I say this as a woman, fyi). This dept is entirely run by women and it’s extremely toxic for that reason. These ladies expect the employees to live and die for the company, while getting paid WAY below the median range for your position. The turnover is high because they run their employees to the ground then dispose of them and hire new ppl and the cycle continues. They also reward the most toxic people with positions as supervisors and managers. Giving power to people that abuse and don’t respect hard work. You only hear from the higher ups when they’re dissatisfied (which is always), and they never take the time to acknowledge your hard work. People that are supposed to be supervisors gossip and talk down on employees behind their back instead of clearly communicating with the employee what they want. They also expect everyone to work overtime and weekends. Not worth working here unless you really need a job for the short term or need some way to break into medical/pharma industry.
