Cons
I have been here through the old regime and onto new regime. So will share thoughts on both regimes because even though the new regime is trying to establish professionalism, respect etc. a lot of baggage from past exists. Old regime - abusive management, no respect for the individual, nepotism - more like a friends and family company, no processes, demoralizing management, no growth opportunity and poor sales growth New regime - some of the new execs especially CEO and CMO are outstanding. Trying to change the past culture to make it more respectful but honestly execution of that is falling through since there is a lot of past B and C players in middle management who won't change unless they are fired. They have hired a new sales head who has a huge challenge on his hands right from hiring A players to growing sales. no chance of that happening anytime soon. The products team is a disaster. poor quality and Prod Mgmt has zillion VPs even more than a $500M company. Most of the VPs are incompetent and don't know Product Management. Whatever top talent Kony has are leaving in bunches. I have heard the Foster city office is a ghost town and totally demoralizing to see two handful of employees and a lot of empty space where the team can use to play soccer. I do see that new HR is trying to add employer response to negative reviews. The objective here is to help HR change things by working with exec management and not to sound like a disgruntled employee. The feedback is very objective and just stating the facts. So don't waste your time adding a response to this. take this feedback constructively and try and stop losing more talented folks.
