Can't get full time, have to stay on a certain side of the river to receive benefits due to different unions between Minneapolis and Saint Paul that takes away insurance benefits just for relocating for the convenience of the company. A lot of management is largely unqualified and only hired based on Nepotism that is rampant at every location. When you ask for support, you get thrown under a bus. Irrational customers that abuse stakeholders are rewarded for their complaints while the stakeholder is disciplined for their reaction. Disciplinary actions are not followed properly, in the correct order or correct fashion; not properly documented nor recorded. I was forced to undergo mandatory stress management after ONE irrational shopper did not find the exact product waiting for them on the shelf that they never requested, rather than a verbal warning or even a write-up, mandatory counseling, wow! Certain positions, such as the one I held, creates a hostile environment for the stakeholder as he/she is exposed to all the needy, rude shoppers on the open floor, invading personal space and crossing boundaries; I was verbally abused and even threatened by a couple shoppers, yet I was told I was just not handling the stress well (the stress of doing the work of 2 people each day with no time for breaks); this exact practice lead to a heat stroke accompanied by an anxiety attack resulting in the Paramedics being called to the scene, due to 7 hours straight of non-stop work with no break (after requesting backup day after day, after day). My cries for help continued to fall on deaf ears until I finally left, something I have never done before, without notice, only to find out that the manager recorded it as a termination. There is a lot of deceit and dishonesty among management. This company took a job that I loved and turned it into something impossible.
