      Pros

      The friends you make are worth it. It helps pay the bills and if you are full time you can get insurance. You get to work with the public if you like that sort of thing.

      Cons

      Work holidays and seven days a week if they need you. No room for growth really unless you are willing to commute to another city. There are only limited advancement positions.

      10% discount on all kroger branded items $17.25 per hour is one of the better wages in the area when compared to competitor stores

      October-January the workload and store environment is overwhelming due to holidays Slowest time of year in the store is during the summer when its hot and days drag ob forever Lack of communication between dept as well as between store management MOD adds insurmountable tasks onto your already lengthy expected daily task assignments
