Pros

None of the jobs require a high level of skill, benefits are good, and there’s a good chance you’ll work with decent people

Cons

Low staffing, pay and additional compensation may not match labor expectations, management and higher-ups expect you to care about numbers and related elements when you (as an Assistant Lead) don’t benefit from them at all, constantly-rising expectations (every time you meet a goal, it just gets raised; an accomplishment one week will become a critique the next), some departments/areas are highly prioritized over others, meaning depending on the department you’re in, your concerns and work may not matter nearly as much as another’s
