Pros

Could be worse Decent Pay (Over 60k + bonus potential) (up to 80k potentially) 13 weeks Paid Training 3 weeks vacation during first year 4 personal holidays

Cons

10 hours shifts not including commute there and back, 5 days a week A lot of hypocrites (mgmt & associates) & ppl who don’t wants to work & being down other people Lots of micromanaging Did I mention 10 hours shifts, 5 days a week Same rules don’t apply to everyone Not easy to move up but possible Friendly culture is preached, but not enforced but everyone You will hardly ever have time to yourself. I was leaving my house 11 AM to get home 11 PM most days. Just enough time to sleep and repeat the process

Pros

10% discount on all kroger branded items $17.25 per hour is one of the better wages in the area when compared to competitor stores

Cons

October-January the workload and store environment is overwhelming due to holidays Slowest time of year in the store is during the summer when its hot and days drag ob forever Lack of communication between dept as well as between store management MOD adds insurmountable tasks onto your already lengthy expected daily task assignments
