I was told this was a direct hire position all through the interview process. It wasn’t until I started completing my on boarding paperwork the weekend before my start date that I realized it was a temp to hire position. I was also asked to delay my start date by one month so the client’s HR manager could return from medical leave. I delayed my start date by four weeks and the HR manager was still out on medical leave my entire time working for their client. In hindsight, I voluntarily delayed my start date by four weeks, receiving no income during that time all for nothing.
