Where engineers come to become worse engineers - Software Engineer LNRD by Eulerity Employee Review

Pros

The coworkers are nice excluding the higherups

Cons

It makes me sad to see all the positive reviews from engineers because its fake. You can tell in the office that no engineer is happy here. Who would be when no engineer is making above 90k including the ones who have worked here for years. You become a worse engineer here because there is no senior engineer to learn from and the code base is a mess. When we try to implement the best coding practices we are met with criticism because the CTO doesn't care about best practices and scolds us on impossible deadlines. Don't be fooled by the 'unlimited pto' you only get 10 days and upper management will not be happy about it when you do use it. They will try to entice you with perks and raises for the low salary but they will sneakily remove the perks without telling you and the raises are insignificant. When asking for a better raise/salary you will be met with aggression.

Pros

Office Lunch Stipend and Snacks Somewhat unlimited PTO depending on who your boss is Cool people that work here outside of leadership (most of leadership, some are cool as well).

Cons

Genuinely, not somewhere worth working in my opinion. Incredibly high turnover in both ways: people quitting and being fired for incredibly small reasons that wouldn't justify a firing at any other company. This is probably due to the lack of HR and leadership being incredibly emotional instead of objective. There is no real training and pay is low. Bonus (if offered) is based on Goals that aren't possible to accomplish. Promotion wise; if you come in at a lower role and were to be promoted, your pay will not be anywhere near how much they would pay for someone coming into the company. They look to promote cheaply instead of investing in high quality hires who could bring new perspectives and ideas.
