Pros

A few individual team members are kind and well-intentioned. Opportunity to learn what to avoid in future workplaces. Dogs are allowed in office.

Cons

I joined this company early in my career, hoping it would be a place where I could learn, grow, and develop professionally. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the opposite. The morale is very low, with poor communication and very little transparency. There is no experienced leadership, most departments operate without clear direction or accountability. In my role, I was micromanaged for basic emails and client calls, which made it difficult to build confidence or autonomy. When I offered ideas for clients they weren't really welcomed, felt more like an admin for my boss. Much of the team is made up of junior employees, interns, or offshore contractors. This created constant execution issues and major knowledge gaps across departments. There’s no structured onboarding, no real training, and no support for career development. Employee turnover is extremely high, I’ve heard several more people have left since I did and I saw over 12+ leave in my time. Concerns raised by employees are often dismissed or met with defensiveness. Leadership is not only absent but at times unprofessional, including emotional outbursts in the office. Pay, especially for NYC, is well below industry standards. My current role pays significantly more, has better benefits, and is in a far healthier culture.

Pros

Office Lunch Stipend and Snacks Somewhat unlimited PTO depending on who your boss is Cool people that work here outside of leadership (most of leadership, some are cool as well).

Cons

Genuinely, not somewhere worth working in my opinion. Incredibly high turnover in both ways: people quitting and being fired for incredibly small reasons that wouldn't justify a firing at any other company. This is probably due to the lack of HR and leadership being incredibly emotional instead of objective. There is no real training and pay is low. Bonus (if offered) is based on Goals that aren't possible to accomplish. Promotion wise; if you come in at a lower role and were to be promoted, your pay will not be anywhere near how much they would pay for someone coming into the company. They look to promote cheaply instead of investing in high quality hires who could bring new perspectives and ideas.
