Huge perma-interviewers - Software Engineer LSI Employee Review

One of the greatest benefits and employer can offer is the ability to move around within the company. Unfortunately that proves to be difficult when you have uncompromising hiring practices. Make no mistake about it, there is lots of interviewing taking place at LSI, but not much hiring. Absolutely no preference is given to current employees when it comes to filling job openings. I think management actually considers this to be a strategic advantage. At least that's how it was when I left in 2006. Hopefully things have changed now.
