Pros
* Good culture / friendly co-workers * Free food / catering every Wednesday and Friday * Average pay * Free booze * Easy work
Cons
* Confidence in leadership is poor across the whole engineering department * Does not nurture creativity and individuality * Leadership is disorganized * Very high turnover rate * Lots of politics going on, behind the scenes * HR seems like they are protecting management rather than the employees themselves * Employee confidentiality gets thrown out the window when talking to HR (they will tell other employees what you said) * Bad/old equipment - laptops are falling apart or overheats * Will not pay for productivity tools such as IntelliJ, so you resort to buy it by yourself * LOTS of meetings (including company wide meetings) * Averaged maybe 100 lines of code per month due to fighting bugs with an over-engineered product * Unethical business decisions are being made behind consumer’s backs
