The company also fails to value the opinions and contributions of its employees, particularly individual contributors which is hindering its growth potential. Top management's disorganization results in confusion regarding goals and direction, affecting overall efficiency and causing an unnecessary frantic, fast work pace of always trying to catch up on deadlines. Additionally, there are small bonuses and salary increases that don't meet creeping inflation given at yearly reviews and it is nearly impossible to achieve an official standing of anything higher than being 'mediocre' at a position. Current review system marks a typical 'exceeds expectations' track record as 'meets expectations'. Furthermore, the prevalence of scapegoating by managers fosters a toxic work environment. No one has your back when issues arise.
