Pros

As with most retail, the satisfaction of helping customers solve problems, beautify their homes. The team members were very supportive, training was extensive and thorough.

Cons

The pay scale at low tier, under performing stores is sometimes below poverty level for a managerial position. No flexibility in working “blackout weekend sales” work life balance very tied to direct supervisor’s flexibility.

Pros

Easy selling environment due to intense brand loyalty and quality Depending on location, good schedule (relative to other companies of it’s kind) Customers are (typically) older and therefore more established/have higher income.

Cons

Pay is not sustainable. The commission structure is very company friendly and not very salesperson friendly. With all metrics being met… you’re looking at roughly 55-60k a year. Not enough in today’s day and age. Sales are often very confusing and not easy to explain, OR are very simple. Pick one.
