Cons

Corp provides little to no support in the way of marketing and traffic Unrealistic sales goals planned up over 100% vs LY Immoral practices in S Chicago Market Long slow days with customers not coming in for hours Expected to call customers and clientele like it’s 1985 Grass roots used as excuse to be marketing captains essentially Retaliation for speaking up Look into how yours stores are actually being run by the MSMs and HRMs dig into what is really causing a entire region across 3 states to all do bad ? What’s the common denominator? Leadership. Excusing ones behavior as well he treats everyone poorly is not acceptable and hypocritical to your core values as a company. Dan King pay attention! Pros

They allowed the opportunity to grow if you have the initiative and drive. They have a decent benefit package including purchasing LZB furniture at a discount.

Cons

Boys club, lots of politics at the corporate office. Management is out of touch with what the real issues are. Mgmt. doesn't care about the employees and their work/life balance. They will push until you literally break. The politics are holding the company back from reaching its true potential.

Sales manager

Pros

Employee discount and benefits for full time employees

Cons

Commission based salary that unfairly cants against the sales manager. A base salary that is beyond ridiculous and no guarantee of a minimum income as well as inordinate work hours set at a minimum of 48 hours per week. Working almost all holidays and weekends. Responsibilities included cleaning bathrooms vacuuming and dusting training employees handling customer issues that were created due to substandard product being delivered to customers doing inventory and still only making a small commission if you made a sale
