Pros
Intelligent, hard-working colleagues. Flexible working locations allowed.
Cons
Incredibly high turnover - often for little reason. I've seen people given projects that were obviously doomed to fail, work long hours getting them to succeed against all odds, and then getting fired because management didn't understand what the difficulty was in the first place. Every layer of management takes more pain from the layer above it and pushes it onto the people below them. As an IC, that means maximum pain for you. Expect to be blamed for things you couldn't have helped, and for higher ups to take credit for your work routinely. Revenue is down and companies that are much younger have surpassed Labelbox in almost every category. From my perspective, the issue is organizational, and cannot be fixed without changing the CEO - you can read the same reviews here, on Glassdoor, from literally 7 years ago now saying the same thing. Realistically, it's not going to happen, and the company is going to slowly spiral the drain until there 5 year old round of funding dries up and upper management takes whatever assets are left before leaving the corpse of another failed startup behind them. Don't work here.
