Pros
-Co-Workers are very nice and helpful -Occasional food in the lunch room -Ping Pong table -Flex time -Decent benefits -Company BBQs and Christmas party - Benefits are decent but you have to pay into it. -12 days of vacation instead of 10 -1 paid personal day
Cons
-Very low pay, been hearing that new hires are being paid more then current employees for the same job title even if you have been with the company for a few years. -Bare minimum salary increases (2% inflation) will only offer you more money when you threaten to quit. Seems to be the norm to quit after 1-2 years -No career growth. Company is expanding and hiring a lot of people but Managers like hiring their buddies from previous companies for new positions instead of their own employees. Despite even posting the position internally -Too much office politics so nothing ever gets done. -Office politics is also one of the reasons why there is no career growth. Management talks to one another and will block you from getting new internal positions because they don't want you moving around or filling the position instead of their own people. So I find posting the positions internally is a waste. Very rarely have i seen a current employee get a new position from within. -HR works for managers not employees
