Pros

- 4 weeks vacation and health benefits start on your very first day. - company car - gas card - company credit card for company related business (heavily scrutinized by immediate mgr, making you feel guilty simply for following company guidelines) - Absolutely great peer group of under-respected Sales Representatives that you can speak to, lean on, work out concerns with and so on. ( all of whom are also destructively treated by immediate management in a condescendingly, mistrustful way to an alarmingly augmented-self-promoting form of fearmongering- shepherding).

Cons

- Care seems to be given to appearances only, and what does so and so think vs real tangible effort, result and circumstance - Central Management (or H.O) seem to be very detached from the reality of what actually occurs day-to-day at retail. - Blanket targets are given to sales reps regardless of their territory size, store compositions, etc... - Any problems, concerns, and/ or strife of any kind cannot be taken to immediate Manager as it WILL be used against you at some point. It is a frustratingly awful situation.. As a Sales Representative, you tend to sit as the lowest known entity in the hierarchy chain of command and are treated as much by the immediate management. Problem is? You cannot go anywhere with your concerns. Take it a step up the rung and you are turned away with a full blind support of the person he installed. From this "next rung up the ladder?" - No passive listening. No active listening. No listening Period.. Just a 180⁰ type insult on your intelligence, the integrity of your concern(s) and how it is somehow some way your own fault. I know of a few concerns that were brought to HR but that must have fallen on deaf ears as the problem only worsened. I stay in touch with this AB/SK/MB team and it seems the team morale has only worsened with time. Why has this not been rectified? - Because that Sales Team is phenomenal and will always do what it takes. Go over and above, extra time not aacounted for, etc. For what? Additional condemnation, accusations, quiet threats and more. But there was a job to do and their pride for their work will always take precedence... I hear they have since hired some truly great people for the team that will only enhance the depth, knowledge and expertise of this fantastic Sales Team. But alas, I fear their immediate Manager will only take them as dangers to his "harem" that he will insist never question his authority. I write this as I felt it time I must help describe how upsetting it was to hear how utterly helpless absolutely everyone, not only former peers but my friends, so whole-heartedly felt. As I mentioned previously, all of whom are all still destructively treated by a manager in what seems to be a quest of job justification in some way. This, in a condescendingly, mistrustful way to an alarmingly augmented-self-promoting form of fearmongering in order to shepherd.

Pros

Great conditions and pretty engaging workplace. Great compensation salary-wise. Good managerial staff. Great autonomy.

Cons

Working hours are the only thing that are not great but you are warned in advance. The rotating shifts can be a pain for out-of-work planing. We get our schedules 1 week in advance which isn't great for planning.

Pros

This company may work for those early in their careers, but it’s not sustainable long-term. There is an implicit expectation to work extended hours to keep up with demands, and a lot of your weekends often involve preparing for the week ahead due to constantly changing priorities. This pace leads to rapid burnout hence the reason it's not a viable option long-term. While peak workloads are common in most businesses, this company operates at that intensity year-round. While not always the case, leadership occasionally makes uncertain or delayed decisions often driven by fear or their limited experience which does contribute to the instability. Many who remain do so mainly for the competitive pay and benefits or their title rather than a sustainable work environment.

Cons

No work life balance Lacks real support for critical areas Unstable environment for long term career
