LOL does not focus on hiring and training people to do their job correctly, there is little standardization on how things are to be done and their documentation and maintenance procedures are lacking. The capital project process is a nightmare and the cross functional groups working together is a hellscape of political agendas, sites are constantly being compared to one another, but knowledge sharing is not encouraged. Senior leaders are constantly having spats instead of focusing on improvements and that mindset and agenda trickles down to their reports.
