Advancement is rare. Cross team communication and cooperation is bad at times. Upper management needs to trust middle management is attending to the details. That trust is mislaid sometimes. Bad managers tend to stay in place far too long. Employees get job training that is very myopic and as a result many don't understand how other departments and the business as a whole operates. Location is a bit remote. Not many conveniences close by.
