Pros

I want to preface this by noting that I sincerely believe the biggest problem isn't necessarily this Company but the fact that daycare in this country is absolute garbage. My Director, Manager & Office Manager were working their tails off. They were doing so to no avail because they literally can't. Company policies and Federal/State Regulations account for most of the reason these Managers appear to be incompetent. In fact it is exactly the opposite and I've never had a Supervisor work harder & longer than I saw here. The only 2 Pro's i could recall: * All of my children and their families were amazing, they were the ONLY reason I came in every day. * Relaxed dress code

Cons

*First of all, ignore these clearly planted glorious reviews. It's a huge red flag if there are compliments in the Cons section. It is my opinion that this Company is adding fraudulent reviews...what's worse, they aren't even good at it. *You are NOT a Teacher, you are a Babysitter *Despicable pay. I honestly still cannot believe how hard I worked for so little. *Equally disappointing benefits. When I needed antibiotics (generic, not name brand), a State Assistance card gave me a better discount. *They have an iPad App that you will be required to update constantly with ZERO free time to do so. In addition, you will need to update an archaic sheet, because what is better than taking your eyes off the kids even longer to re-do the same work?? *Ratios, Texas is 2nd to the worst in the Country, but I've been told they're terrible even in California, where the ratio's are almost half. *Special Needs, Learning Disabilities & Physical Disabilities should ABSOLUTELY be considered in Ratio's *No bottled water. That's all I'm going to say about this. *Work Orders are fulfilled in a timely manner....roughly a year. "Locked" doors were unlocked for at least 2 months, damaged playground equipment never fixed going on 5 months. *Strange choice of Food & Snacks (not healthy at all or too healthy for children's tastes)- boiled eggs, granola, bean crackers, cream of wheat, lentils, wheat pasta, black beans, soy crumbles, processed oil cheese with saltines, plain pancakes and hummus...Who's Hungry?? *Don't expect company created emergency plans to consider child safety, the focus is always on liability. Your Director will probably be forced to come up with the best plan(s) *Lesson Plans are disappointing in that they have little thought and creativity put in to create them - I'm pretty positive my 4 year olds could have put together better activities. They are somewhat engaging but far from educational. *Zero room for growth. This is the peak. *I'm left to assume not a one person making decisions about the "classroom" has ever been in one before.

Thanks for the feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed working with the children and families at your center. As far as the reviews on Glassdoor, we can promise you we are not writing our own reviews, the below information is from Glassdoor regarding user reviews “To keep users in check, we allow them to write one review per year, per company worked at. If a user updates a review within a year, the older review will be archived and the newer review will be listed. However, if we find evidence of a user posting multiple reviews for the same company through separate accounts, we will remove all contributions from that user's accounts.” Learning Care Group’s number one priority is the safety and well-being of the children and staff at our centers. Learning Care Group has strict protocols to ensure the wellbeing of our children and to make certain we meet or exceed regulatory guidelines. Educating and caring for young children is demanding work; no work is more important. We’re committed to providing a supportive work environment where every employee is given the opportunity to be successful. Concerning pay, we research and adjust pay levels in every market, every year, so we are sure that the compensation we offer is competitive within the market. If you are open to sharing more details on your personal experience, please call our Employee Hotline at (877) 767-5241, and we will ensure that your concerns are addressed. Thank you.

Pros

I love my job, We have a great company that really looks at what is best for children and teachers. Our education team is fantastic our children are excelling daily in their learning but still always have the opportunity to play and experience there classrooms. We have great benefits which is hard to find. I would recommended our school and any in the company. Our school is very unique we have incredibly long term staff. Many over 25 years my self I have been with our company for 41 years.

Cons

Work life balance is always an opportunity that could be better as in any company.

Pros

My immediate team and supervisors were great.

Cons

Management has no idea how recruiting works, and no clue how to administer or gauge recruiting metrics. Their weekly "goals" for recruiters don't even make sense given what is involved in hiring and starting a candidate. I was only there for a short time, but working there was a total waste. I'd rather Door Dash than work for this company again.
